Our Philosophy and Mission:

At Mizuki Hibachi and Asian Bistro, we aspire to honor our roots while innovating for the future. We are committed to preserving the authenticity of our dishes while enhancing our customers' dining experiences.

Our approach, grounded in our Silicon Valley background, applies meticulousness and innovation to the culinary arts. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere, infused with superb customer service, weekly specials, and a unique hibachi experience.

Mr Zheng came to USA from China to study and ended up in the restaurant industry. He had his own restaurant in the past. He joined Mizuki in early February 2023. He is married and raised a set of twins (a boy and a girl). He enjoys spending time with his family on his days off. He loves to join Uncle Charlie with fishing and crabbing.

Sous Chef/Tempura Chef

Uncle Charlie (as we call him) has been a chef all his life which started in China. He is in the industry for the love of food and creating delicious sauces and dishes for Mizuki. He has been with Mizuki since April of 2016. He is married with 3 kids and also has 1 grandkid. He spends most of his time babysitting his grandkid during his days off. He loves fishing and crabbing. We seldom get delicious fish and crab staff dinners.

Kyo has been a sushi chef for over 13 years. He was with our other sister restaurant Mizuki in Pennington, NJ and transferred to us. Kyo loves to decorate all his sushi platters and dishes with accessories and that’s his expertise. We all enjoy seeing his artistic work. He loves hanging with his wife during his days off. Kyo loves food and he likes to bbq aside from sashimi cutting and sushi rolling.

Andrew has been a sushi chef for 7 years. He joined Mizuki May of 2022. He came from the competitor place and we cannot be happier he decided to join Mizuki. Andrew has a respectful and mild mannerism which all of us love. Andrew loves creating fancy rolls and whatever we wish him to do such as our latest delicious poke bowls. Andrew also creates special rolls for holidays. Andrew is single but he loves to settle down soon to have a family of his own. In his free time, you can find Andrew playing pool and hanging out with his friends.

John has been a sushi chef for 3 years and joined Mizuki in September of 2022. He is single and loves playing video games during his free time!

Joseph used to be a kitchen chef for 5 years and switched over to sushi 1.5 yr ago. He joined Mizuki in October of 2022. He likes sushi chef posistin better since it’s cool not dealing with hot stoves. Joseph is single with a girlfriend. He loves changing his hair colors although you can’t always see his hair under his cap. His love and hobby is to be a DJ and playing/listening to music in his spare times.

David is our most popular and funniest chef. His hibachi performance has brought many customers and all the staff laughing and having endless fun. His endless energy and his eagerness to help anything at mizuki keeps him busy. Even though his time with Mizuki hasn’t been that long, he joined us after we took ownership, but he is known by almost the entire town. He is one of a kind. David and his wife are raising 2 school aged children. He loves to take care of his kids and family during his days off and seldom goes fishing and crabbing with the Mizuki chef crew.

Head Hibachi Chef

Tim has been a hibachi chef for a couple of years. Tim joined Mizuki in March of 2023. He has become a hibachi chef to earn a living but also loves meeting and interacting with customers. Tim is originally from Indonesia. He has moved around the states for hibachi positions and well traveled, now Wall is his home. Tim is a great helper and likes to help out with takeouts during his free time at Mizuki. On his days off Tim loves to go enjoy outdoor and stroll at the beach. His hobby is making video content on social media. He sure is with the trend!

Andry has been a hibachi chef for 2.5 years. He started with Mizuki in April of 2023. Andry also is originally from Indonesia like Tim. Andry has the shy nature but he finds his ways of interacting with the customers using his charm. He is friendly and very polite. He likes going to the beach and loves warm weather. He goes wherever his job takes him and makes the best of each place.
